Provincetown, Massachusetts Custodio J Silva Sr. 1926 — 2024 Custodio Joseph Silva Sr. passed peacefully in his home on June 4, 2024. He was 97 years old. Custodio, known as Joe to his friends, was born in New Bedford on Christmas Day, 1926, to Custodio Charles Silva (d. 1936) and Josephine "Josette" Tarvis (d. 1998), who migrated to America from Portugal. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:30 am, at St. Peter's Cemetery, Jerome Smith Road, Provincetown.
