You may pre-purchase parking (recommended) or purchase on site upon arrival. Access the special $6 event rate by pre-purchasing parking online at least 2 hours prior to your event. Day of event parking will pay prevailing rates.
Outside food and beverage (including sealed cans and bottles) are not permitted inside The Smith Center. Clear, soft-plastic, empty water bottles are permitted (less than 16 oz). Accessible water fountains are located on the orchestra and balcony levels near the restrooms.
Is there free parking near Central Park? Free parking near Central Park is available on almost every side street branching off Central Avenue and 5th Avenue. Do remember that free parking in NYC is subject to time limits and regulations. Do not forget to check parking signs before leaving your vehicle.
Myron's venue follows the same age guidelines as other venues at The Smith Center (see ticketing policies). Please refrain from leaning or placing belongings on the railings. Although The Smith Center does not have a set dress code, a shirt and shoes are always required.
Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5". Necessary medical items following inspection at entry gates. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags.
There are 7 on-street parking zones in downtown Raleigh with maximum time limits raning from 15 minutes to 2 hours. On-street parking is enforced 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and can be paid using coins, credit or debit cards.
Parking is free for the first two hours and $1.00 for each half hour thereafter. METERED PARKING: During the hours below, metered parking costs $1 per hour. Meters have a maximum length of stay that varies by area.
Street-level parking and first-floor garage parking are pay-to-park. You may pay for parking by texting your zone code to 25023 or by using the machines.
If you're paying with a card, use the + or - keys to select the desired amount of time, up to two-hours. If you pay with coins, (meters accept quarters, dimes and nickels) insert the amount to pay for the desired time you will be parked. Finally, take your receipt. No need to go back to your car and display it.
