Ticket or Pass?

If you’re planning on just a one-day visit to Six Flags Over Texas, a single-day ticket is the way to go! Pro-Tip: Purchase your ticket + parking online to save a few extra bucks and time!

If you’re thinking of coaster hopping more than a couple of times in a year, you should probably take a look at an annual pass. Buying an annual pass isn’t as cut and dry as it used to be, though. Now, there are OPTIONS, depending on what kinda perks you want with your pass. All passes include parking as a monthly payment option!

For our summer-specific thrill seekers, one pass to seriously consider is the Summer Pass. With this pass, visit both Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor UNLIMITED times during the summer months, plus parking!

There’s literally an app for everything now.

Including Six Flags Over Texas. Purchase and access your ticket/pass on the app to get you in the park, navigate your way around, see wait times and height requirements for rides, and even order food ahead of time!

Speaking of food…

Let’s talk meal plans. If you’re gonna be at the park for a solid chunk of time and thinking you’ll grab a bite in between stomach-turning drops and flips, the meal plan is WORTH IT. You have a couple of different options for a single-day add-on, plus there’s a 4 meal plan option that you can use for you and the family in one day, or use them all by yourself on different days you hit up the park.

Pro-tip: try ordering ahead on the Six Flags app to save time waiting in line for food and ordering outside of typical meal hours. With the heat and all the stomach flips, you can even get away with getting a meal to split.

Ready. Set. GO.

The earliest the park will open is 11:00 am, so plenty of time to get everyone up and ready at the gates when the park opens. (Remember, if you’ve made your ticket purchases online, there’s minimal line waiting!) Getting in the gates right when they open is the best way to make the most of your day.

Have a list of must rides?

Hit those rides up first thing when you get to the park to make sure you get to ride! If you wanna scream on as many coasters as you can, head to the back of the park first and work your way up to the front of the park.

Make a splash.

Love water rides but not the soggy clothes afterward? Splashdown on those rides first thing to give yourself the rest of the day to dry off. Don’t forget to protect your valuables – take a Ziploc bag to store items like your phone and wallet!
